Losses in Pipe Fittings Apparatus

The present set-up is designed to study the pressure losses due to pipe fitting installed in a pipe lines which causes major losses in pressure when a fluid flows through these. The set up consists of a bend and elbow, a sudden expansion & sudden contraction fitting, ball valveand gate valve. Pressure tapings are provided at inlet and outlet of these fittings. Present set-up is an accessory of Hydraulic Bench which can be connected to the Hydraulic Bench with provided quick release coupling. To operate this accessory end user should have Hydraulic Bench which is provided with ontrolled water supply, flow rate measurement and differential pressure measurement facility.
